California Latinas for Reproductive Justice (CLRJ)

CLRJ is a statewide organization committed to honoring the experiences of Latinas to uphold our dignity, our bodies, sexuality, and families. We build Latinas’ power and cultivate leadership through community education, policy advocacy, and community-informed research to achieve reproductive justice.

Take Back the Night UCSB

The charge of the Associated Students Take Back the Night committee is to raise awareness about issues surrounding sexual violence through activism, advocacy, and survivor empowerment. It aids survivors in finding and demonstrating their empowerment, provides a forum for survivors and allies alike to make their voices heard, and creates an environment in which survivors of sexual violence can begin to heal.

Women, Gender, & Sexual Equity Department

The WGSE Department exists at UCSB to support students, faculty, and staff who might face some challenges due to their identity. We celebrate all identities and encourage people from all identities to get involved. Our department is made up of three distinct program areas: Women’s Center Programs, Campus Advocacy Resources and Education and the Non-Traditional Student Resource Center. Collectively we strive to make UCSB a more welcoming and just place. We encourage you to check out our events each quarter and to join or request a workshop. If you are part of one of the specific communities we are here to serve you. If you want to become an ally to one of the communities we serve, you are also very welcome to get involved and learn more. Feel free to stop by and visit any of our centers.
